I love the flash of a amused self-recognition that occurs when Colbert catches himself doing something out of character, but sort of in character*.
He had at least one the other night as I watched 3 episodes back to back to back (in under an hour!) while I was multitasking (see above) and basking in my television's warm, glowing, warming glow.
