More than the simple words I try to say;
I only live to love you more each day...

(haha, this picture was not staged, I just happened to have

JASMS and protein protocols sitting on my desk in the background.)

YOINKS! I saw this on a t-shirt and liked it. If I were the tattooable type, I'd be all over it.  Or vice versa.  Later I found out it was off of a delightful webcomic that I also read.  Way cool, Dr. Cham.

So here is a quick "this is where my mind went" map.

V

-"Out To Sea"

Great movie:  B.S. does a lot of Singing!**

-Soundtrack=1 of under 20 CDs I've ever purchased.

-Unfortunately, my favorite song on the soundtrack is Bobby Darrin's.

*He is Gates McFaddin (Dr. Crusher)'s child's godfather.

She is one of 3 women in "The Hunt for Red October"

THfRO:  Alec Baldwin plus Sean Connery?   AWESOMETASTIC.

Confirmed.  One ping only.

There are no women on nuclear subs: a big slight in my youth.

(According to Wikipedia, which I usually don't trust fully, the US Navy, which permits women to serve on almost every other ship in the fleet, only allows three exceptions for women being on board military submarines: (1) Female civilian technicians for a few days at most; (2) Women midshipmen on an overnight during summer training for both Navy ROTC and Naval Academy; (3) Family members for one-day dependent cruises. I don't know if this has changed, but that was essentially the party line I heard back in 1998 in a nuclear science class I had in H.S.)

**HOO BOY!  The men of Star Trek sure do sing some amusing tunes.

(I can't wait to get on the road again...)

(I might prefer his Sexy Cakes SNL routine, but this is pretty great)

(I may have squealed a little when seeing Dr. Bashir****. *Swoon!*)

(Bravest little science officer of them all)

(Number One Ain't Misbehaving.)

(Kira is not a dude, but she was married to Dr. Bashir IRL.)

(Way to harmonize, folks from V-Ger. "You, Me, and a tuning fork.")

AND OF COURSE, WHAT COMPILATION WOULD BE COMPLETE

without:

(You KNOW I love week to week continuity!  It is the bestest of all!)

ah, me.  I'm surely missing some, but....

*** data is, first and foremost, the goal of work,
which I will get back to riiiiiiight now.

More than you'll ever know

my arms long to hold you so,

my life will be in your keeping

waking, sleeping, laughing, weeping,

Longer than always is a long long time

but far beyond forever you'll be mine,

I know I never lived before

and my heart is very sure

no one else could love you more.

And I think it's gonna be a long long time.
